CraftSocially Elder Friendly Durga Puja Award

Durga Puja is the celebration of life transmitted from one generation to another, year after year. This world's biggest public art festival touches every heart from age 9 to 90's. Amidst the celebrations, festivities, and the joy of visiting various pandals, we often overlook the fact that the senior citizens we've left behind at home might be feeling left out and missing out on all the excitement. Among 3000+ Durga Puja pandals of the city, a few chosen ones are keeping their pandals senior citizen-friendly. Technicise and CraftSocially want to award those few Durga Puja committees that took extra efforts to allow senior citizens to visit their state-of-the-art puja pandals.

Rules for Participating this Award :

1. The clubs must have separate elder friendly queue free entry & exit for the senior citizens.
2. The clubs should have dedicated Elder friendly coordinator who can take care of the visitng senior citizens during less crowded visitor hours 11 am - 4 pm.
3. The participating clubs should encourage senior citizens to visit with 3/4 family members, so the senior citizens can enjoy world's largest public art festival with their near and dear ones.
4. Wheel chair entry to the pandals for the specially abled and senior citizen who can't walk.
5. Parking facility with pick up & drop for senior citizens near the pandal.

উৎসবের এই মরশুমে আমরা সবাই আনন্দে মেতে উঠি, চারিদিকে সাজো সাজো রব, এই আনন্দঘন মুহূর্তকে আমরা সকলে মিলে উদযাপন করি, কিন্তু বর্তমান এই সময়ে বিপুল জনজোয়ারের জন্য আমাদের প্রবীণ বন্ধুরা অনেক সময়েই মণ্ডপ পরিদর্শনের অনুভূতি থেকে বঞ্চিত থাকেন, তাই সেইসব প্রবীণ নাগরিকদের কথা মাথায় রেখে, CraftSocially- এর এই উদ্যোগ, Elder Friendly শারদ সম্মান ২০২৪। শহরের 3000+ দূর্গাপূজা মণ্ডপের মধ্যে যেই সমস্ত পুজো কমিটি তাদের মণ্ডপে প্রবীণ নাগরিকদের মণ্ডপ পরিদর্শনের জন্য নিম্নলিখিত নিয়মাবলী পালন করবেন, তাদেরকে এই সম্মানে সম্মানিত করা হবে।

1. মণ্ডপে প্রবেশ এবং প্রস্থানের জন্য প্রবীণ নাগরিকদের উপযোগী পথের উপস্থিতি থাকা বাধ্যতামূলক।
2. সকাল ১১ টা থেকে বিকেল ৪ টে পর্যন্ত মণ্ডপে Elderly care coordinator-কে উপস্থিত থাকতে হবে, যারা প্রবীণ নাগরিকদের মণ্ডপ পরিদর্শনে সহায়তা করবে।
3. প্রবীণ নাগরিকদের সাথে ৩/৪ জন পরিবারের সদস্যকে মণ্ডপ পরিদর্শনে উৎসাহিত করা উচিৎ, যাতে প্রবীণ নাগরিকরা তাদের কাছের এবং প্রিয়জনদের সাথে বিশ্বের বৃহত্তম উৎসব উপভোগ করতে পারে।
4. প্রবীণ নাগরিক এবং প্রতিবন্ধীদের জন্য মণ্ডপে wheel chair-এর ব্যবস্থা আবশ্যক।
5. মণ্ডপ পরিসরে প্রবীণ নাগরিকদের জন্য Parking-এর সুব্যবস্থা থাকা বাধ্যতামূলক।
