Who we are

CraftSocially is a platform for discovering and collecting Indian craft. Our mission is to grow the market for traditional handicrafts so that more artisans, and more crafts, can thrive.

Our writers, designers and photographers travel to craft villages to document how each craft is made: its history, its raw materials, its techniques and the families who carry it forward. Every Durga Puja we also honour the puja committees whose artistry and care stand out, through the CraftSocially Sharod Somman.

Our vision

An India where artisan communities are valued, respected and supported, and where their heritage is renewed for today's world.

We want India to be the best place to make, see, collect and learn about craft.
